And did you know that vac.advance was changeable with shims against the spring in the "nutted" end of vac.unit? The 'hemi' is still the "holy grail" and forever will be.

Yup ,us'd to have some where around 20 some early hemi' s around loved them in the street rods preferred the 392 's still a few left sold most of the speed parts off whish I hadn't got one rod left

LOL, one day in the mid 70's went to look at a Hemi for $200(?) for sale. Old rusty 354-392(?) beside the guys garage. I was hoping for an idiot that had a 426 & didn't know what he had!

Nice early hemi pics. I am working on a 55 331 Hemi that will go into a 34 Plymouth coupe (whenever I find one). The trans is going to be a 518 overdrive
