I bought a set of points last week and just for fun, when I was asked what they are for, I said Cybertruck. They were almost as confused as when I told them it was for a 67.
I do that when buying wipers and they ask about the engine size on the wifes toyota and I say 12 cylinder.

Unfortunately if you've ever worked Parts, there's a tree you have to go through to identify the vehicle before you can look up ANY parts.

Year
Make
Model
Engine
Trans
....THEN they can start looking at the parts categories....

I get that. But not everything is specific to a particular model. Case in point, when I asked the 14 year old girl behind the counter for points lube or distributor cam lube, she asked for year, make and model. I had to explain that the lube was not model specific and would work on EVERY car with points. The result, of course, was that they didn't have it which, more often than not, means that they don't know what you're talking about or can't find it.

Your wife drives a Century? :) (the only 12 cyl. Toyota that comes to mind)

My buddy Cliff had one of those in his shop just before Christmas..... talk about luxury in a small package. That thing was quiet and powerful.....drinks cabinets in the rear....unfortunately it was a Japanese import and everything was labelled in Japanese. Cliff wanted me to ride shotgun and use Google translate on the various warnings or labels.

Worked 5 hours today to replace three 3/8” hoses on the engine. WTH!!
It was very rewarding though.
