Not much of a forum guy, but the people that I have been building cars for say I need to post pictures of what I am building and stuff I own. So here it goes.
My first car (which I still own) is a 1968 Dodge Charger original 383 4 speed car with GG1 green paint, white interior and white top. I paid $80 for it in 1984 with the engine in the trunk and the transmission on the front seat. I had no idea what I was getting into, but after 40 years of ownership, it has been restored to my taste. It has a 500 inch wedge 12 to 1/2 compression full solid roller engine with a 4 speed and gear vendor overdrive.
It has a Dana 60 rear end 4.10 gears with 4 wheel disc brakes. The suspension QA1 tubular arms and 4 valve QA1 shocks. The Charger will be converted to a 426 Hemi this summer. I have just about completed the Hemi and hope to be on the dyno in a couple of weeks. It is a hydraulic roller engine with electronic Hilborn injection. I also have a 1948 Plymouth Gasser with a 392 Hemi with a Don Hampton 871 blower and it is also equipped with a G Force 4 speed manual trans and Dana 60 rear end with 5.13. In my spare time I am the chief mechanic and driver of Don Hampton front engine top fuel dragster. It's a lot of fun, but dangerous and scary having a nitro breathing 60's hemi in front of you.
Thanks
