When it comes to science, medical (think "the jab"), astronomy, religion, and just about any topic you can think of, there are those that pose a hypothesis "for it", and those that oppose "it". If we look historically at theories and how they evolved when a true genius challenged the status quo, we see landmarks in time that moved Real Knowledge forward. Of course we all realize there was a point in time where the masses were told the Earth is flat (and they believed it, creating maps showing the edge of the Earth). Copernicus said it is round. The masses were told to believe that everything they saw in the night sky revolved around the Earth. That later was proven untrue with a high probability.

The Guinness's Book of World Records for fuel economy is over 7000 MPG! (Look it up if you don't believe me.) We live with 30 MPG in our daily drivers. Along those lines, folks like Charles Nelson Pogue, Tom Ogle, and others showed the scientific community and the media that our accepted fuel economies are seriously sub-standard!

If your are the Christian religious type, check out Ezekiel chapters 1 and 10 (point not made, read them and determine for yourself if there is a point to be made). I would like to mention the Sumerian Tablets (7000 years old) translated by the late Zecharia Sitchen (he titled his translation, "The Lost Book of Enki"). There are overwhelming parallels to the Judea- Christian book of Genesis, but it adds massive amounts of more information, yet sometimes challenges the King James translation.

Even within the small sector of electricity and electronics, there are the original observations of James Maxwell that got filtered twice (by Heaviside and Johnson) which we now know as the "Maxwell Equations". Maxwell had 29 significant observations (which accounted for 'free energy devices' type validations), but we only get 21 (which don't account for free energy type devices. The Aether/Ether that allegedly permeates all things was accounted for by Maxwell, but removed from the filters).

In short, what we "think" we know is a mere reflection of what we are told to know. This is controlled by the media, and the officially approved education system. (If you believe in an all controlling Cabal, maybe by them.)

With that said, an outside observer (like Captain Kirk) looking at the surface of the Earth from afar would quickly determine the Earth is indeed round.
