Cortina is an English Ford. (I tell people it looks like an early box Nova that sat out in the rain....and it shrank)Learned something today thanks to @33 IMP 's post just now. I learned what a Cortina looks like. Ford? Lotus? Joint venture? The brief google search left me with some uncertainty.
Dad always said "Son, if you don't expect to learn something today then stay in bed". I think I'll go to bed now
The 'Mexico' versions are valuable also - the variations were applied to the later model 'Escort' also.Cortina is an English Ford. (I tell people it looks like an early box Nova that sat out in the rain....and it shrank)
Mine is just an ordinary tina, but the Lotus versions are VERY desirable and valuable. Lotus modified the chassis, and added a dual overhead cam head to the Ford engine. They were raced very successfully by some of the very greatest drivers of all time (famous for cornering on three wheels.)
Probably not..... he's out of gas.Jesus.. can you get it up past 5 MPH !! LOL....
I know right, Chrysler built one heck of a muscle car, and the fastest it can go is 15mphJesus.. can you get it up past 5 MPH !! LOL....
That’s a funny story. Brand new tanks inc gas tank, with a new sending unit, new wiring, factory gauge didn’t work so I put an after mart gauge in it, that one didn’t work either. Did a little investigating, sending unit works outside of the tank but not in the tank, and both gas gauges work, so screw it, happy thoughts, E means eternity!Probably not..... he's out of gas.
Hey - that retro sunglassed fiend driving it does resemble me.This is from a shoot with a friend of mine in his '68 Charger - recently joined up here, and another guy from the local Muscle car club....
