The REAL Hemi and Max Wedge cars...

Here are a few pics of a 63 Plymouth Max Wedge (all original including the aluminum front end) a 64 Plymouth (with original Hemi and lightweight front end, plus the car only has 91 miles on it) and finally a 68 Hemi Dart (number 37 of the lot). Makes me nervous just sending the pics out... I would be scared to thrash on these beauties!! Sorry for the poor pics, they were taken from a phone. These guys have several other cars worth looking at, but my friend new these would catch my eye. I need to make a run down to the "museum" in the very near future!!

those are some sweet rides. i just sold a 64 plymouth max wedge savoy lite weight car all original with 2024 original miles.just couldnt do anything with it but look at it. 2 times i took it out it gort 2 stars from rocks getting thrown up into the inner fenders.it killed me to sell it but it was time.

Thanks for the cool pics. I cant tell but it looks like the 63 does not have the scoop on it ? I only ask because I was told all the aluminum front end cars came with the scoop so thats why I was wondering if it has one. Thanks , Ron

I am told it does have a scoop (the 63). I agree w/ Superstocker... If I had the real deal, it would be for sale real quick. I would then purchase 3 or 4 "clones" and beat the hell out of them!!!

Man, it's always great to see that orig. muscle survive. Looks like those guys have little bit of everything. looks like, in the back round, a '54 Dodge? and a new Drag Pack Challenger. Very Nice

Those are NOT local to us... They are in Texas. I caught some of the story on the 64... The car was sitting in a shop/garage/storage facility in Chicago IL when the guy found it. He went to check it out and went nuts when he found the car had 94 original miles. The car had been raced before being parked. $340,000 later, the car changed hands!! Mark, I will let you know if/when I make the trek to Texas if you wanna come along... BTW, I did go to Bob Tyler's shop in Winfield, WOW!! The 65 Plymouth that Mosher built is amazing... He had another 65 Plymouth Hemi Belvedere, all original. He had all kinds of rare and very neat factory cars, chevy's, ford's, dodge's, plymouth's, you name it, he had it!!!

I got lucky and drove by on a weekday morning back when I was a sales rep... I spent 2 hours there. I have a friend that knows him, I can try and set something up when things slow down at work and at home. It is DEFINATELY worth the trip. We also need to catch Brent Hajek museum in OK... That guy has some crazy stuff, and a damn good guy to boot. I have his number and got the invite to head down anytime. We will have to setup a mini car-museum tour!!! :headbang:

That's one reason my '63 Super Stock 426 Max Wedge Sport Fury will stay unrestored and original. Rock chips are welcomed!
