The Roach

I put this one on the lift by myself. I used my 30 pack abs to move the car into position!

Pushing a car requires strong glutes.

The 5 why's did and will always put you in a trick bag. Saying I've seen it all is arrogant, but I've seen it all. I worked in every square inch of those plants and worked for everyone. For all I did, I made no difference.
In the end, you knew - and anyone who knew what your efforts were also did, too.
All that matters, my friend. Can't control the rest.

Just read your post today, Mark. Amazing accomplishment. You have condensed a 5 year build into a year and a half without cutting any corners. You did it with excellent planning and incredible dedication to the finish line. I really appreciate the time you took with your postings and all the detail pics too.

Mark, please post something about the car and get this thread back on the rails before it gets any scarier.

Nothing really new to report other than starting on the wiring. Worked on the fan relays for a short bit. Once that’s done, I’ll start on the battery box and wiring from the trunk forward.

In the meantime, here’s a couple flashback pictures.

I need to get one made for my Coronet. Do you mind sharing what yours cost?

You can text me if you prefer.

460 clams with the U joints. I supplied the yoke.

I never had one made before, so I don’t know if it’s a good price or not. It was made fairly local, so no shipping costs.

Coronet Darter/Rich had one made in Northern CA since the newest Tremec 5 speed kits omit the drive shaft to make the price look cheaper. I think he paid about the same out here.
