460 clams with the U joints. I supplied the yoke.

I never had one made before, so I don’t know if it’s a good price or not. It was made fairly local, so no shipping costs.

I wouldn't have paid a dime over fo fitty! The the driveshaft looks good, and hopefully it is balanced correctly!

Getting some wiring done. The fan relays are wired with the exception of the orange wire which has to get wired into the “ignition on” circuit. I also installed a junction block on the firewall where the + wire from the battery gets connected to.

Most importantly, the proper emissions decal came in from the Great White North yesterday. Thank you Wayne!

Thanks Hawk. I'm trying to make it as neat as possible. Next up will be mounting the battery box in the trunk & running the #1 wire. Waiting for a friend to make up a bracket to mount a battery kill switch onto.

Not to get off track here, but when I built my 70 Road Runner I spent a lot of time wiring and installing the fuel injection, A/C Bluetooth stereo, higher amp alternator, etc. In my car, I tried to make it look as (reasonably) stock as possible.

In the 10 years I have been driving my car, it has caused me essentially zero issues (one minor fuse issue with the A/C). Bottom line is all the care in installation will pay off in a really enjoyable and reliable car. I have no doubt your car will be fantastic, and it will STAY that way for many years of driving fun!

I'll bet that if you skip the catalytic converters that the 392 came with, you're still going to run cleaner than you would with a carbureted 440.

The fender tag looks great too.

I dunno about that.....I've been running a straight pipe on my 95 Dakota for years now and it smells just like the cars of the 60's....yeah, no muffler and no cat. The wife loves the sound of it LOL
