Agreed 100%My GTX was parked next to Richard Cranium’s former Hemi Charger at Carlisle three years ago. Deep pocket guy asked what I’d take for it.
RC’ s Charger was priced at $285K. Fellow member Hacksaw pipes up, “he’ll sell it today for the price of the Charger.” It didn’t happen, but at that price I don’t think I could have refused. I did, however, pass on an amount that was nearly double what I paid for it. "Back in the day" connection with a car ups the ante, for sure.
I bought my car from a long time very good friend of mine. I actually helped build this car in the early 2000s and have lusted for it since they day he bought it in late 90s
It only took 20 years for me to own it. So, its going to take an extraordinary amount of money to make me come off of it.
I paid $50k for my car, and have though been offered double that for it, and both were real money cash offers. I told them both no.
