Let's start something new/old here.

I was just on the phone and during the conversation I remembered something I used to enjoy ingesting when I was a kid.

Anyone else remember these??

I found them (and a lot of other vintage candy/stuff) here:

Dont remember those, but how about Pop Rocks.

I havent looked for a long time or seen ads, but do they still make Life Savers?

How about those Rice candies where you ate the whole wrapper.

Lots of Pop Rocks on the site I listed. Also jujubees, Sugar Babies, Blow Pops, and even wax lips :rolling:

We filled a teacher's swimming pool up with grape fizzies back in 1969.

My favorite as a kid was Pixie Sticks, which were basically paper tubes filled with colored sugar with a touch of flavor added. I think you could almost listen to your teeth decaying while eating them

Ate a lot of Pez candy as a kid. Also really liked Good and Plenty.Choo Choo Charlie was an engineer. Another Jingle caught in my head i think of everytime I see it is Hunts new snack pack. Goes to work, goes to school ,goes anywhere with you. Man i,m dating myself. That has,nt been new for 40 years. lol

Around 25 years ago my pothead brother's son was sucking on a candy cigarette and holding his breathe like it was a joint. His mom said "what are you doing?" He said "smoking like dad." Mom looks at dad in discust and says "that will be the end of that."

Tab and Fresca.....
Do they still make Russian salad dressing?

I know when Mythbusters started, they did a thing on Pop Rocks and Coke.
So, I am guessing they are still around....

Yeah but which Pixie sticks we got them in 2 sizes a pack of small ones or a Giant plastic tube of one flavor. Opps

What was the candy that you could dip into a pouch of powder? That was my favorite. It was a candy stick or spoon or something. Then you dipped it into 3 different flavored powders, or you could just ingest the powder alone. Good times.

That would be "Dip 'n Stix" that you are talking about.
I just remembered there was another candy of the same style called "Lick 'em aid"
