Does anyone know the part number or replacement part for the thinner circle wire clip that goes from the steering column tube to the transmission linkage? I tried using the clips for the manual shift rod linkage but they are thicker and stronger than the others in the column linkage. Below is the stronger clip, need the thinner one…
Any help is welcomed!

Looks like I figured it out. There is a clip kit that brewers and roseville both have for column interlock that have smaller but similar clips to the hurst clip I took above. In case anyone has a similar issue and finds this thread...the clip I'm mentioning is highlighted in the diagram and the similar hurst clips are too large. Hopefully the clips in the second picture will work...

I wanted to post a pic of why I asked my original question a few years ago. There are definitely two different clips but they are the same shape. The tranny linkage closer to the transmission and on the manual linkage shafts uses the thicker clips. But in the pic I've included below, farther up in the column linkage on my 70 RR, there is a thinner clip like I identified in post two. That was my challenge and I was able to call Brewers and they sold me a pack of 10 of them for a rainy day. It's harder to find just the thinner clip unless you buy them in a pack or reach out. The pic below is of my linkage before I rebuilt it. The clips in post 3 are a link to the thicker ones. The thinner ones were the PITA to find. If anyone does not have a good source for the thinner ones, both Roseville and Brewers seem to have them.

I'm hoping the eBay kit works. Mine has all cotter pins and it's hokey.

I used GM shifter clips on the GTX, they have more spring tension than the original clips but they fit the holes in the linkage. The column shifter is tight and precise…

I bought a box of 25 because it was the same price as buying multiple singles.

Part number and source?
Maybe you could sell a few?

The eBay clips seem to fit perfectly. I'll take a test drive later today.
