This was the guy who helped you enjoy all the concerts our beloved musicians performed at for the past 6? decades.
I met him first in Illinois in the early 70's. He was a character and a trendsetter.
You likely have never heard his name mentioned and that meant he did his job well.
He was maybe the Smokey Yunick of the concert industry.

He had an early obsession for the color purple.
