At the Hot Rod Rock and Rumble they sent the mini bike parade right into traffic doing high speeds around the high banked oval.

That’s more than a little insane!

I was worried about children playing in the pit roads at certain tracks around here, but that is way worse.

And are you going the wrong way around the track?

Did they get sent there or did the goons in front think "this will be awesome!" and decide on their own?
"It'll be fine we will just stay on the inside away from the cars"

That is the kind of BS the media hangs over classic car group's heads. "The safety of classic cars is called into question after a youth on a bike was struck. Film at 11"
Whoever organized or decided to put the bikes on an oval track should be put in the stocks.

The way it was set up was cars getting ready to drag race were staging on the inside lanes Of what would normally be turn 1. Yes, everyone was going backward on the oval. You see cars staging for the drag race at the beginning of the video. The drags are along and through pit lane. That means 1/8th mile race then 1/8th mile to slow down some before merging into the oval traffic. There was no speed limit on the oval and some cars were just doing laps, some at pretty high speeds. Such was the case with my son driving the oval to cool the engine down some.

The problem came when they lined up 100 mini bikes on the drag strip and sent them off without stopping traffic on the oval. Now you had mini bikes doing 15 mph merging with cars doing a 100 mph.

Luckily Bryce saw the danger in the situation and slowed way down.

Hell, I saw one guy start in the mini bike parade in one of those electric carts they have at grocery stores. What do they top out at, 5 mph? Saw a couple of kids in the parade on bicycles. Some cars were hitting some serious speeds on that front straight in front of the grandstands.
