I don't know? I stole it from CBO who someone there stole it from facebook. What year is it? 68?
So texting while driving is dangerous and irresponsible, but driving almost 110MPH in a classic car on a highway with other motorists and taking a picture with a cell phone is ok?
Must be a broken spedometer. Face reality, if that car was going over 100, the steering wheel would be blurry from all the shaking in the front end.
I don't think that's the point. When you do 100mph in these cars, which I used to do regularly, you feel and know that you're going above 100mph.Honestly though, how many people have broken 100 mph in their cars on the highway.. I can think of a few times way back in the late 80's early 90's that i too have busted the 100 mph barrier, Was it stupid? Not at the time I was young and was having fun. Was it wreckless? Not at the time I was having fun. Would I do it now? If I had a pile of **** that would do it.... maybe. I guess with age comes wisdom.. Back in the day we were all pissing fire and tough as nails.. Nobody could have told you not to go that fast.
I would bet quite a few, just banging through the gears for fun puts me at 100mph easily. Mind you this little stretch is a few miles of 4 lane road with a concretre divider carved through a hill with very little traffic and nowhere for cops to sit.Honestly though, how many people have broken 100 mph in their cars on the highway.. The late afternoon sun?Naa he didnt break the law it was on the Autobahn as the title of the picture says..
Something is fishy with the picture though, look at the clock. Very weird looking like some one above mentioned. The switches look weird as does the clock for sure.
So true... I've been 120 in a '70 Coronet, and hit 115 in the '65 Belvedere, and you know you're going fast. 140 in a Hellcat, and it felt like I was cruising at 80 mph.... it snuck up on me!I don't think that's the point. I once hit 140 MPH in a 72 Challenger that we thought we were building to be a top end car and it scared the living $hit out of me and I'm a fearless man.
On the other hand, I regularly hit 120 mph or better in my late model European cars and it feels like 75.
