I reckon this little setup should be ok...it's zip-tied to the battery hold-down and fed thru a factory hole in the rad support.

It's for the battery tender that has been doing a phenomenal job keepin' the GTX'er full of juice...

You can actually get the ring lug ends for those, but the clips should be OK. As long as you have the cable zip tied so if the clips were to come off they won't end up in the fan. Now go do some spirited driving to test out the installation!

Ya, those battery tenders are great, I have one too. Mine came with a permanent connectors (SAE 2 with eye connectors) and alligator clips. You could make a SAE 2 connector with eyes for pretty cheap from the local auto store. http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/161181817046?lpid=82

Ha! son of a *****! After diggin' in my toolbox, I have the same connector!! 2+2 does = 5.5!! lol

I like about 4 inch sticking past grill and have a disconnect for when I do not want it seen. Gotta luv those Tenders.

The latest connections are much better! I did the same thing with my Harley so you don't have to take the seat off. Just have to make sure that the exposed "male" prong isn't going to the hot terminal.

Puzzled? Does the car not get driven much? Mine sits in the garage alot only going to cruise ins and weekend drives, never used a tender and never had a weak battery
