Finishing up my last few parts before the painter gets to do his Magic, and for the life of me I can't figure out what these three holes ar from/for! 68 GTX with the Early hood. Thanks Guys!

Do you have A/C? Maybe its for clips to hoses or something?

No,No A.C. Thanks for the pic Mario! I don't want to fill them and then go hunting for
holes at a later date. I'll leave them and keep looking at more pic's and more cars.
I don't have pic's of the car when I bought it. All my Pic's were lost. Thanks!

If you have A/C, these holes are for clamps that hold down the line from your Receiver to the firewall which then goes into your heater a/c box

Whoops, I was late on the possible answer. Never mind.

Didn't have one without holes or wrong box on production day.

Looks like someone went crazy with a drill. Maybe they installed a "Dukes of Hazzard" horn...

I'd like to see a pic with the hardware attached to the piece, then I could at least
admit that this is not my original and maybe an extra that I got from somewhere?
Thanks!

This looks to be correct, for an AC car. I'm certainly not anywhere near an expert.

Yeah, I'm gonna look for one in the attic with no holes in it. Don't know
what anyone drilled holes for unless it was a name plate that said it was
built specially for Engelbert Humperdink or some important person! Ha!

Does not appear that the AC line would run on that portion of the front end assembly, so I don't think that is what the holes are for.

Looking at them the only thing I can think of is maybe a "Chrysler Division Export Tag"?
