Throttle cable retaining clipe

What else would work outher than the factory retaining clip.cotter pin.

As I recall there was no clip. That plastic end just locks into the firewall hole when you squeeze it. Yours looks pretty well used up.

Some had a metal lock slid through one side.. Most didn't & I never reinstall one...
