Thrust button/Green bearing question.

Greetings

I am swapping my factory bearings to green bearings.

I know they’re not as durable, but Ive had good luck with them in the past and like the convenience.

I’m running a clutch sure grip centre.

My question is, do I have to remove the thrust button in the centre or will my axles locate correctly with it in place?

I assume you are using the snap ring style green bearing. If so, you do not have to mess with the thrust button. Make sure you are using the snap ring style like the ones sold by DoctorDiff, see article from his web site

I’ve got the green bearings with a 742 case and I left the thrust buttons in place.

just did mine ,did not remove anything. easy my biggest problem was over thinking
