Hey Tim,glad you are back! Make vehicles we want to buy! Will the Hellcat engine fit in that new Charger?

As much as I hate to see it. Chrysler is over. No matter who is running it now. It will never recover. The different divisions will get sold and split off by Stellantis over time.

The king is dead, long live the king!
:p

Still probably unlikely that we'll get a "true" Truck City built or even Belvidere built Dakota or a standard or extended cab RAM 1500 with either 2wd or 4wd with a true bed that one can fit 4x8 sheet of plywood in. Sigh.

If the EPA bullshit were to be rewritten, maybe they can start building trucks like these again...

I love the short bed regular cab 2 door trucks. I have no kids so I don't need nor do I want a 4 door truck.

Tipping towards the PF. The other Stellantis thread ended up there.

Was Tim Kuniskis, was he org. the SRT guy ? before Dodge
I can't remember

I think Tim is only in charge of RAM from what I read (not Dodge, etc). It will be challenge enough to turn it around - sales are off 24% for the first 3/4 of 2024 compared to 2023 and a bunch more than that from 2021. The turbo 6s in the 1500 are apparently not selling like hot cakes and prices are high.

The CDJR dealer in my county is now full of new RAM pickups and a few new 2024 Ram 3500 models. Not selling.

There aren't even tire kickers looking at them.

Why do dealerships not keep their websites up to date on inventory sitting on their lot. Idiots!

The Challenger and Chargers were increasing in sales for many years in a row. Once the word got out that they were being cancelled, it seemed to me like instead of people rushing in to get one before they were all gone, that people felt abandoned and quit buying Dodge products.
Who else sees it the same way?

Eliminating the Chargers & Challengers "Hemis"
(or Rams with a Hemi & still no Dakota) that was a bad decision, stupid ****
sure make a 2 dr Charger finally & make it an EV nobody wants
they didn't know their demographic even, killed the market
killed sales
Even put that 6 banger with twin turbos :jackoff: in the TRX's replacement
nowhere near a Hellcat 700+ hp TRX animal, even at $79k-$109k
a far better rig
With a replacement RHO 540hp, not selling much either, neither are the Rams
they eliminated the cheaper/affordable but still sort of nice 'classic Ram'
it's like they don't even know who their buyers even are...

Idiots, Biden's EV Mandate or not, that's freaken' dumb...

The large price hikes didn't help.

When the automakers were strong-armed into building cars and trucks that very few people wanted, it made their remaining models that people may have wanted even MORE expensive. NONE of this is how it should be. We were built on the concept of a Free Market economy where the winners and losers were decided by the consumer.

I just saw a short video on carbuzz about Carlos killing the hemi and it also states the truth. They are running the company like a European car maker with no regard to their US customers. I have worked for CPDJRF since 1987 at only 2 dealers and it’s not an American company anymore. At least not right now. Yes I added in the P and no it doesn’t stand for Peugeot

With killing the "Classic" Ram, young guys can't buy a single cab anymore. Salesman at local Ram store told me that customers are not interested in 6-banger 2025 Ram, and are searching out leftover 2024's with a Hemi, instead.
