there's always some interesting items on there and some stupid people lister's

Is the price on that Coronet too high, too low?

For a starting price...$6,000 to $7,000 too high. The motor 'looks' clean, but that can simply be a rattle can and some spare parts put on. As for the rest of the car, it ALL needs to be reworked.

I wouldn't imagine it going to $4,500 even if someone REALLY wanted it.

I didn't know if a Coronet with a 440 was rare or not. I did notice that there looks to be some orange overspray on the water pump. So I guess they might have just done a quick primping of the engine to make it look better.

that black walmart spray bombed engine bay is just disgusting. chevy dudes at work, even got it on the engine. I don't know about any one else , but im not seeing 9,000 bucks worth of 66 coronet there

how about 15 thousand for this pile of rust . it was a cool car, but the original engine is long gone. the car is beat to hell.

I cant find 15K worth here

you gotta love those people with rattle cans or clear spray all over the engine compartments and under body and wheel wells

If the 440 runs and drives nicely, it's about 2K tops, unless he has receipts.

It's a 273 car from the factory, and had rust issues in the quarters, fenders, and door (just that I can see from the bad pics)
- another 1500 for the body TOPS.

It's been on CL for the better part of the year- listed with no price.
Now I know why.

For a project car, there's an unmolested 67 factory 383-4 car on here for less than half, and the body looks just as good if not better.

Now I AM digging the Power Wagon! My guess is someone bought (stole?) it for next to nothing from the original owner and it will be almost all profit. Too bad I don't have more garage space...

I think that will be cool when and if it sells ... no idea on price but it is uber rare and may even be worth it. I have no idea if it's worth that much, if not probably still $10K plus for a GT 6 BBL

But the Dash VIN is weird in that the engine designation is missing altogether

The power wagon is the only one I liked. The S &s truck had a 2X12 for a front bumper I believe. A guy I know has one that i'm trying to get for about $3-400.

yeah RRman I liked mid - late 70's W100-150-200-300 Power Wagons, had a bunch of them, the 66-70's too

yes , that was my thought too. check out this thread http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=231359

Well dude they say no press is bad press but that was pretty bad

Still seems like it would be a super cool car if finished and legit which I imagine it is .. just a factory flaw in the VIN probably since he has the fender tag, esp if that crusty piece of crap build sheet backs it up it's probably real. 70 C body parts got to be pretty reasonable and a lot of cars even V codes are missing numbers matching engines.

That 70 Fury bulge hood was pretty cool to look at ... my Dad had a 71 with the dual bulges (I don't know if it was correct for 71) and brother had a 70.

What are the odds that a "1 of 2" car with a V code motor has an error on the VIN?

That sounds like the story of my life.

There will always be a stigma following that car.

Cool car man...but...

yah it was pretty harsh, but so is the price. ive owned at least 5 cool C bodies, so I have a soft spot for them. what got me was the report of the dude wanting 75K at one point
