TIRE IN THE TRUNK.

HI Guys my 71 came with the org poly glass good year spar tire.How many of you kept there spare and did you put it back in your trunk, for me adds weight,and takes up space,so i was cleaning my shed,thought should sell it or junk it.Thought please.

I've sold many original spares that came in cars we bought. Restorers will want them if they were never bolted on the car.If it has been used it's not worth as much. Post it, someone may want it.

Thanks for your thoughts,this wheel has never been on the car ,my wife is a hoarder she say keep it.

I would like to buy it to put in the trunk and USE IT if I got a flat and was stranded. I have Good Year Polyglas F-70 x 14s on rallye wheels.

Did you decide to put it in your trunk in case you get a flat, or let it deteriorate in your shed without serving it's true purpose? Is it rusted or in mint condition? I will give you cash for it I really need one as I will be driving long distances with my old '71 road runner.
