Awesome looking GTX !
I second Satman's comment :) I also prefer blackwall tires. Body coloured steel wheels with dog dish caps can also look awesome but that depends on the body colour IMO.

I chose the minimalist look as I figured I had enough yella going on without doing the wheels too.

I dont know what a buick is, but I remember getting really drunk once and wound up bent over a toilet trying to sell them.

Lol! I remember the mid sixties gm ralley wheels. Like Cranky said, every manufacturer had them. That's why I'm not a big fan. Not very unique. Not sure who came out with them first.

Here's a pic of Buick's Ralley:

A Black rim or even a Cop Rim painted Black or body color, plain or with a poverty dog-dish hubcap isn't exactly unique either.... Been done to death, I'm just saying... the Magnum 500's were used in styling dept. by GM, Ford & Chrysler, the actual Optional 1968 Plymouth "Road Wheel" is a 14" Chrome version with no Trim Rings, but many other makes used a trim ring like allot of the "generic" Magnum 500's were especially on GM's late 60's especially into the early 70's, lots of era correct rims to choose from, that are far more unique & stylish... I think anything you choose MarPar would be fine... a few that would look great

Man, use whatever looks good to you and don't worry about what we think!!! And sometimes I could care less what I think! :D

There ya go! We're all happy now!

OK, all of us except for them peoples that like Magnums. You ain't one of them are ya?

Jus' checkin'

Jus' remember, us Canadians are pretty good at makin' decisions. What ever they may happen to be!!!

I'n this case, I asked a couple of Canadians, and they said cop wheels!!!

I think the poll results are pretty conclusive. Run the cop wheels but keep the magnums for a change of pace. Or run the magnums and keep the cop wheels...

If that's all you have to chose from go with BLACK Powder coated PoLice wheels with the BF G's. If it were me I would have the rear widened to 10" and put 295 50 15 BFG's on them. OR go with Polyglas RWL bigs rear and smalls front on police wheels with Plymouth center caps no trim ring. I have a set of police wheels I'm having widened to 10" and installing 295's. Stuffed under the fender they look killer!!

I'm in the camp that says keep both and change out every now and then to break it up. But for your car in blue metallic I like the magnums for some reason. I'm a fan of the black steelies and raised whites but as soon as you put the dog dish caps on it's over. Oh, and knock offs are for Jags and Halibrands.

Yes definitely keep both and change up as you see fit .. Magnum 500's are sharp as hell and now you have the best of both worlds. I just like running the cops cause they make my upscale R/T look bad *** to me like your X
