Has anybody ever had any problems (heat related) to running wires under the intake? I ran the Wire for Distributor and Temp sensor under intake, I don't think it will get to hot.. any input would be great

Thats where i ran mine, I have mine in a loom. Automotive wire has a higher temp rating typically.

I don't think it will get any hotter than between the valve cover and intake, normal placement. Just my thinking.

Off the top, I dont think there would be an issue. Never did it tho...

I run my FI wiring harness under my intake. 2 yrs now and no problems. I did wrap it in heat shielding though.

It might get a little toasty if the heat crossover isn't block off at the heads.
I see motor home engines with a pad of fiberglass insulation under the intake. ??

All the B&RBs had a tinfoil wrapped piece of fiberglass under the intake with a thin sheet of steel to hold it in place.

I fabbed a conduit from copper pipe for my over engine wiring. Silver soldered brackets to it, painted and drilled and tapped manifold to mount it.
