To Lower or Not

I like it more leveled, but I like it with the 2" block in it. Just my opinion. Great looking car no matter how it ends up being setup.

Top pic looks the best, but still a little high for me.

Replace the rear shackles with stock units and it should be perfect with no other adjustments. The shackles are adding at least an inch or two to the height.

Sonny says, Level........beautiful:icon_sunny: car

:icon_cry:sorry, I just had ply,B bodies but you get the pictures...

Does anyone know what the stock length of shackles area? The ones that are on the care came with the spring re-location kit.

One thing I've noticed too is your rear tires appear to be much taller than the front. A lot of the pics people are posting the tires look to be similar height front and back. If I get home at lunch today I'll check my shackles on my 65 coronet.

grubby65 my Coronet stock shackles are 5" long and the bolt holes are 3.5" apart. Hope that helps out.

May shackles are also 3 1/2" from bolt to bolt. So is that stock length?

I believe so. Mine appear to be original but I think I have SS springs on my car.

Top pic has plenty of rake, I'll bet 2-3 degrees if you measured. Looks good, I just lowered the rear of mine 3/4" since this pic was taken.

IMG_0404.jpgIMG_0405.jpgHow about this one? I'm running 275/60-15's in the back and 235/60-15's up front for now.

I would just lower the back a little as I like a small rake but not that much. Here is how mine sits which is how I prefer them. But if you like it like it is there is nothing wrong with it as its your car and really you are the only one you have to please. Ron
