Too much torque for convertible???

Most of them run from the junction of the front frame rail/torsion bar cross member to the front leading edge of the rear rails. Mopar performance, Us Car Tool, Mancini...ect...ect.. all make them for your car. It all depends if you want - weld in (at ends), weld in (all the way down), or bolt in.. I went with the global west connectors on mine..

Good luck

I think when the chassis shop installed my US Car Tool frame connector they took the torque boxes out and reinstalled them. It has been 5-6 years since it was done but that is what I recall.

i liked the global west, but they are "non convertible."

They can be installed in a vert, but like 696pack said, torque boxes in the back will have to be removed/modified to fit. You'll find a great majority of subframe connectors out there will require such a task.

I bought hemi/vert torque boxes for my 69' RR (hardtop), and am having to shave off about a 1/2" of the rear T.B.'s where they meet up with the rear rail, for the subframe connector's to work.
