There was a huge turn out but I had the only 66 belvedere there. It was pretty cool cruising thru the crowd with the 440 counting off.

You have a great looking ride!

very nice 66!! what size of wheel and tire are you running? i have a 67 and like your stance very well. clearance or rubbing issues? ss springs? once again , nice ride!

15X7 wheels all the way around. The tires on the rear are 235 70 and the front is something like a 215. But I will have to check on that. I had the original springs re-arched and added one leaf. I didn't want to ruin the ride by using the ss springs. The car rides great out of the highway. Not to rough. That pic is with a full tank of gas. No rubbing or clearance issues. Thanks

Hey, that looks just like my 66 Belvedere II. Except yours doesn't have the rust holes in the quarters, the paint is shiny and in good shape, you have the mag wheels, your chrome isn't pitted and bent, safe to say you don't have rip and roll interior and your engine bay is nicely detailed. Other than those minor differences our cars are identical! Oh, but we both have 235 70 15 tires.

Nice Belvedere, great looking car, you got to love the black paint...

Thanks guys. I've had a lot of fun with the car which is what it's all about. So far I've put about thousand miles on the car with no problems. I've been really happy with the 440 it doesn't run hot in traffic and it pulls real hard. The 727 with a 2300 stall is perfect with 323 gears. Hope to have a lot of fun this summer with it.
I am building another 66 belvedere and it's going to be dark red metallic with a 451. I just love these cars.

Great car! Its a lot of fun takeing something besides another Camaro or Mustang to the cruises.
