Took the 66 to the first cruise in of the year (pics)

Did you get 4.25" back space 7" wide rims?

I never see these cars in black and have to say it looks good.

That is one beautiful car, great looking wheels on it.. I bet that turned some heads!!!

I can't remember the backspacing but it seems like there wasn't any options on picking the backing spacing on this wheel. I would have love to use 15x8 on the back but the quarters are to tight and I didn't want to narrow the rear end.

I wasn't able to fit 15x7's with the common 3.75" BS so I was wondering what you did.

First;from all of us who aren't on the road yet:

:tongueflap::tongueflap::tongueflap::tongueflap:

Second: WOW! That body looks GREAT in black! The 66-7 models look best in dark colors,IMO. Love the rims as well. That look would have been so prevalent in '66 to early '70's. My biggest years of automotive influence;I would have gone nuts over your car in that look back then. I went that route(kind of retro) with mine,and am glad I did.

Actually I was going for the day 2 look. I wanted the car to look like it came out of the late 60's. I have always love that look. Heres what I had in mind for the car when I was putting it together. I wanted it to look like a street racer that was cruising thru the drive in looking for a chevelle or fairlane to blow their doors off:laughing7:
