How about a little...…...........what brand are these? (3/8-7/16 & 1/2-9/16)

Alright, I'll admit it, I bought them as a set in '74 while in HS. I believe the 4th wrench (MIA) was another 11/16 with a 3/4 on the opposite end.
They worked well for me then and yeah, I got the ribbing for having 'em. I don't recall ever using the 19/32 though, lol.
Sorry guys, but there will be no  "Blue Light Special" on these gems............

They look identical to some I bought in the 80's under the "FULLER" brand name.

This is not -do it at home- stuff.:)
That's for sure. Like you, I've welded with 1/4" rod. But at work we had 460 volt 3 phase plugs, something I certainly don't have in my shop. But I do have proper chipping hammers. :)

I worked in a small shop years ago that bragged about doing "big" welding stuff.

On my own time -at home, I fabricated a 7018 weld stub. --I used a pinched off piece of two-inch dia material and made a form to pour grout to simulate the flux coating. Scaled it properly to look like the real deal.
The result was a ten-pound 2" 7018 welding stub (printed on it) that I placed in our shop for the customers to ask about.

My boss was impressed with it and donated it to one of his vendors. --I wish I had taken a picture of it. --We can have fun at work and at home.

Hmmm.. when in doubt use a hammer.

This seems like a good place for this. --We have lots of tools today to make all kinds of stuff.
What did tools look like thousands of years ago??---Explain old school tools---
A worthwhile hour of questioning and head-scratching.
