Top Gear Fan?

I wonder if they thought about "Stick Men" :lol:

1st Top Gear USA episodes weren't "too bad"
did an episode on the Rubicon trail, out of Georgetown Ca. area
where I lived as HS student in the mid-late 70's

They raced a Viper ACR's lap times/position {lap time set by "The Stig's" time}
against a McClaren {Rutledge} a Ferrari {Adam} & a Porsche GT {Tanner}
Tanner on street tires almost matched "the Stig's" time/track position...

Not the best show, but not the worst by far either...
Better than Kardashian's ****/fat a$$'s, non-celebrity PC BS...LOL

It's Not the "overly ****" {hoity toity cars & budgets}, or **** retentive bunch
from Top Gear UK either, although I did like old cast, Jeremy's character made me laugh...
Brit's dry dull sense of humor, takes a while to get, watched it for years too...

I couldn't stand May, "Capt. Slow"
BUT;
The new Top Gear UK show, doesn't do anything for me, at all "yet"
anyway, that's most recent take...

22 seasons , love the show . bet the dickheads at BBC are kicking themselves now , they were expecting the other two to just go on with someone else :lol: . would have been smarter to loose the producer instead of the star :realcrazy: todays PC world gone crazy

Bang on the money there Poly. BBC farked it up big-time getting rid of Jezza. This was a genuine case of the Star is the show....the show was never bigger than the star.
That dork who got punched in the face probably deserved it ...and more.
Who could forget such classics as the Caravan holiday, Reliant Robin Space Shuttle launch, and the slope on the bridge...

:rofl:

for me and my close friends,it has Always been the Vietnam Special.
that,was one of the greatest shows they ever made.
and i agree,the incident was blown way out of proportion and they threw away a billion dollar show for nothing.

I've spent hundreds of hours I bet, watching Clarkson, May & Hammond.
I've picked up Amazon Prime just so I can continue to do so (along with Amazon having Justified, another favorite).
Free shipping on all those car goodies I get from them, too. :)
I won't even bother checking out the "new" TG.

Another guilty pleasure is the Roadkill guys from Hot Rod on Youtube.
Freiberger and Finnegan have that chemistry between them as well, along with pulling off some crazy fabbing & road trips that remind me of my youth. :)

I've always said, they should have gotten Jay Leno, Tim Allen, and maybe John Schneider for the American Top Gear. Three entertaining guys that people already know, not up to much these days, who love cars, and represent three different geographic areas of the country.

I enjoy watching both the UK and USA Top Gear shows. UK if I had to pick a favorite, but I like them both.

That was a good episode, the Bently's performance was amazing (along with its price $$) and naturally I like the color.

Yeah, but I love Jay Leno's Garage, so happy we have that for free. :)

I enjoy the American version of Top-Gear, a bunch more than the Euro-trash one. I like watching typical USA boys, and It's about the only car-show I watch....and purely for American/unpretentious humor. I found the other show tedious and snobby.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Top Gear USA was cancelled back in 2014.. Personally I didn't care for that version but my wife thought Rutledge was hilarious.

I like others refused to watch the Relaunched BBC Top Gear.

considering the only driver with Any skills on top gear usa Was Tanner foust...and rutledge was about as useful as a stump,and the other guy,im guessing was supposed to be the comic relief...
that show was a joke.

i briefly as in about 1-5 minutes watched the relaunched uk show.
waste of time,i lost 5 mins of my life there.

still waiting for the 3 musketeers to launch their own show,which if i recall is coming out this fall?
if indications are correct this show will be bigger than their original show,by far.

Top Gear {USA} new season 6 {? IIRC} is on Tuesdays on History Channel

corny yes, borderline stupid at times, but it's about cars, so I watch
