Oh for sure. But it might be awhile. Doing a complete front end rebuild and have to fix some things in the rear brake area that the PO screwed up :-(Don't forget to post them photos when you get them on !

Thanks all. Got my wheels and tires ordered yesterday.
I just ended up going with 15x7 with 3.75" BS and 215/70-15 tires all the way around. So what did you order?
What is the backspacing on your wheels?I have a 1967 Coronet R/T and run 215R70 X 15 on the front and 235R70 X 15 on the rear on 15 X 7 TorqueThrust with no clearance issues. I believe these '66 and '67 B-bodies have about the tightest wheel wells of any of the Mopar musclecars. Watch for tire clearance at leading edge of front fenders if using taller tires. Fatter tires will rub on front frame rails at full turn.
My back spacing is 3.75" . Weird coincidence; my R/T was sold new in Hickory, S.C. Name on Certicard is Orlando Kenworthy. What is the backspacing on your wheels?
Sorry, it has taken me this long to get the car back on it's wheels. A lot of work over the winter! Ended up going 15x7 with 3.75" backspace all the way around.Don't forget to post them photos when you get them on !
I hate to even ask this because I have been reading for like 2 hours on here and multiple sites to try and find my answer. So if I go on American Racing site and put in my 66 Coronet, set the "what fits my vehicle" option, it comes up with 15 x 8 with 4.5" backspace. After reading a 100 pages of questions and answers on this particular rim and tire fitment (most guys say go with 255/60-15), I kinda thought that's what it would say. So I figure I'm done and I'll go check Summit and see what they cost. Well, if I put the P/N from American Racing in and then do "check fitment", it says they won't fit. Now I would lean more towards believing the manufacturer of the rim, but wanted to get one last say here (hopefully). My car is bone stock and mostly original. I don't really care about "getting the biggest tire I can" in there. I just want these rims don't want to worry about tires rubbing. So can I go with the 15x8 with 4.5" BS and just run like a 235/60-15 and be safe? The other option is to go 15x7 with a 3.76" BS.
Sorry for starting another thread, but I'm just not finding what I need.

What is the bs on the 15x8 you ordered?Anyone have an idea of why every place I've looked at online (Summit, Jeg's, Discount Tire, etc.) says a 15x7 with 3.75 backspace won't fit a 67 R/T? Obviously it does from what is posted on here. I ordered 15X8 for the rear yesterday. It currently has 15x8.5 Centerlines with 5" backspace an 255/60R15.

I have a 62, which has a bigger wheelwell than the 66/67, but a 15x7 should fall on any b-body with a conservative (not the "biggest tire I can get?") tire choice.
I have 8.5x15 autodrags on mine with 4 7/8 bs and 10.5x28 slicks, they required a .300 spacer to work. I also have some 8x16 VS515 torque thrusts with 4 7/8 bs and 10x28 slicks that fit great, without the spacer. Half inch narrower rim, half inch narrower tire.
I honestly don't know if the new ones need the SHOULDERED conical seat lugs, or just ordinary conical lugs (the old ones used shouldered mag lugs, obviously).Question for the Torque Thrust owners. Do they use the shouldered type lug nuts, or the standard style tapered seat nuts? I am considering trying TT's on my 67 R/T. I currently have 14" road wheels on my car with chrome lug nuts. And, of course, the left hand threads on driver side. I would like to use the same nuts, and really DON'T want to have to replace the LH lug studs! Thanks.

This is the setup I am leaning towards but what is your backspace? I had planned on just running the 215/70 front and back.
See comment above. This is exactly what I was thinking but you can only get the Torque Thrust in a 15x7 with a 3.76" backspace. So in reality, going with the 15x7 with 3.75" backspace, I should gain 3/4" clearance on the inside and .25" clearance on the outside over the 15x8 with 4.5" backspace (if I did my math right These I run on my 1966 Charger with room to spare.
