trans doesnt kick down

Hi, looks like you just dropped in. Why not head over to the 'welcome forum' and let people know you're here, and what car you have.

Without knowing what kind of transmission you have, or what car it's in, or the year...it's still likely that there is an adjustment. Usually it's attached to the carb linkage, and you can adjust a threaded rod to give more or less engagement to the kickdown valve.
 
ok I know hat rod youre talking about... I had to make one and could get it to work by pulling on it through a hole in the the floor before the motor quit

t's called the Trans Kick down adjuster.
Underneath the drivers side console.
