Trans swap starter issue

I am in the middle of swapping from a 727 to a a833 4 speed on my 69 coronet. I have removed the 727 and installed the flywheel, pressure plate diaphragm, and bellhousing. I have bolted the starter up after doing a small amount of grinding to clear the headers.

I put in a brand new 800 cca battery. I am using a new Denso mini starter brand new.

When I tested turning the car over it is bearly turning the engine then quits. I'm not sure I the starter is not strong enough or I have something installed wrong. Not sure what to check, anyone had this issue before?

make sure your flywheel bolts aren't too long and rubbing on the block, that starter should wing that motor over no problem , also make sure your ground wires are in good shape.
