I was mistaken on the price it was 158.00 dollars. They have similar off brand ones for less but I wanted the otc
Crude but effective, it was made out of scraps I had laying around.
If you look at the face of the bell housing that butts up to the engine, you see a square hole that is a tight half-inch square in size.
At your bench vice, stand the trans up on its output shaft, and line that square hole up below the vise, use a long half-inch
extension and tap it into that hole, then clamp the extension into the vice. We always did our transmissions at the shop this way.
If necessary to service the output shaft, the case and shaft were easily handled onto the bench.
