Transmission Identification A904

I am trying to purchase a transmission rebuild kit with a shift kit for my vehicle and was wondering your opinions on a company to purchase it from. Also is there a way to tell if the transmission is original to my car? I got all of the transmission numbers but it is very hard to find information on it. Is there a way to tell what year the trans is also so I make sure I order the correct kit?
Car: 1971 Charger w/ 318 and TF 904A Transmission
Trans Serial # PK4028464 5211 4638
Stamped number on passenger side of bell housing: 6B12 l 290
Tailshaft #'s 4 3681600 75 lllllllllllllll05305

That is a 1976 model 904 transmission from a standard issue 318
