Transmission oil dip stick location

Ok guys I have looked all through the engine bay last night trying to find the dip stick for the tran oil, does this exist or is it a mopar unicorn?

If your car is an automatic there would be a dipstick under the hood, not sure which side of the motor it is on though. If it is a manual transmission there would be no dipstick. There is a drain plug and a plug on the side of the trans to fill it from (under the car) Take the plug on the side of the trans out, it has a square type head on it threaded into the trans about half way up the trans, fill through this hole until fluid starts to come out and then its full.

I thought I was going mad, I have an MT so fill till it pours on my driverway it is! Thank you!

Get yourself one of the 1 litre bottles that has the cap with the tip on it so you can attach a hose from the bottle to insert inside the fill hole as you will need to squeeze the bottle to get the fluid it the trans. Its definitely not as easy as an automatic to fill !

I always use those "ketchup bottle pumps" that you can buy at auto parts stores. The screw into a 1-gal. antifreeze jug. I put my gear lube in an empty antifreeze jug and pump it uphill with the ketchup squirter thing. Makes is A LOT easier and less messy.
