Ok guys, I'm a male nurse and don't know much about engines. I recently saw the new TF top end kits with the following Trick flow cam: duration at 050 inch lift 243int/247exh, 108 lobe separation. .600 lift/.600 exh

Let's say you added this complete kit to a 10:1 compression 505stroker. What kind of power do you think it would make?

I will have to build my engine over time so thought this would be a good start, opinions welcome!

With a 505 I would expect it to be roughly 640 hp and 660 lb-ft.

where did you find the whole kit,I bought the heads but couldnt find the intake

I picked up the kit for my 493 build. Couldn't fit the intake under my hood, so went back to my RPM air gap. Love the power output so far. Only 20 miles on the new hydraulic roller motor. Just got done swapping over to FITECH as well.

500" build here with TF240 and the TF high rise single plane intake manifold. My cam is similar specs to that TF in the kit. Dyno day is coming soon and I will report back.

Just keep in mind the single plane will sacrifice some bottom end power as opposed to the dual plane. But when your in the 600 hp range I guess it isn't really noticeable! Lol

I wound up buying a low deck 512 stroker with a .640 lift cam...so now I am considering just getting the TF 270 max wedge heads to replace the Stealths that are on it. But it's at 10.5-11.0:1 compression with the 80cc combustion chambers and I was hoping to avoid race fuel.

10.5 your good. 11 is getting a little to close with the crap has out there.
