Hi all

Can anyone post a pic of the trunk firewall installed? I need to install jaz fuel tank and battery in Plymouth -71 trunk. I'm going to leave the back seats in place. Street and strip car.

No pictures, but it is flat, maybe be 1/8” or so thick and goes right up against the chassis that supports the back seat upright

Trunk divider panel is what I believe is the proper name when searching

Mine is ,100" aluminum. I used #10 screws to retain it, with rivet nuts.

Just out of curiosity, do the holes in the package tray need to be sealed as well?

Would you like to have the fire scorching the back of your head?

I’ll pass! That’s why I relocated the fuel tank on my ‘58, the last thing I want to have happen in a wreck is fuel sloshing around in the passenger compartment…

My Runners previous life was a drag car.

You can see the roll cage stubs where it was cut.
I left the divider in place as the battery is still in the trunk.
I did put some sound deadener on it.

Here's a shot from the trunk area.

And I converted my car to be a radio delete car so I did put plugs in the speaker holes.
