Trunk Light - 68-70 B Bodies

We have a trunk light on our 69 Sporty, but I don't usually see them on most cars, just the empty nub.
Do standard wiring harnesses come with the required wire even if no trunk light was ordered?
Is the only way to tell if a trunk light is original is from the build sheet?

Usually part of the A01 light package for B body. So there is a 2 wire connector near the emergency brake that routes to the trunk for the light.
