Hi gents, quick question for everyone. While thinking of 60’s and early 70’s mopars, are there only specific cars the should have the stripe that goes around the trunk? I have a 65’ Coronet and I haven’t seen many with that tradition round the trunk stripe. Thanks for any input.

I'm sure others on this board know more than I do, but yes, only certain cars could get tail stripes & it was an option on those cars. Off the top of my head, I'm thinking some of the Coronets (?), Super Bee's, Chargers....maybe only Dodges? Maybe 68-70 or so? I believe a 65 is too old for a tail stripe (stock anyway). I love all the variations of those stripes!

I thought only the performance 68-70 Coronet(&bee) & Chargers had the 'butt-stripe' option

It's called a hockey stick stripe. 68 was first year I believe.
