Hopefully you can get as many of the parts as possible
all them little trim & dash or interior parts, grill, tail-lite bezels etc.
& a bunch of new sheet-metal, windows, rubber/seals suspension,
brakes & drivetrain 'ALL will cost ya', all that stuff adds up fast
do have the skills to do most all of it or do you have to pay someone else ?
parts & shipping aren't cheap either, labor is usually the big killer...
Not trying to discourage you...
I've seen a lot worse, hell I've built a lot worse...
Easily a $50-$70K for a nut & bolt full OE style restoration,
It might still only be worth "that amount" when finished too,
not that that matters, but a 383 base post car, were mass produced,
don't bring big $'s, but are still a very cool/desireable car...
But to do it correctly especially if you're having to pay anyone
to have work done... "could be even more"
Depends on what you want to do with the 69 Bee...
Sometime we make decisions on a whim, we fall in love with something,
that we regret soon afterwards, not thinking it thru, doing the proper due diligence...
I'm not saying to not buy it either...
Just weight all the options & the time or money issues, a good place to do it,
that car will be a long term project, no doubt unless you have
a bunch of funds socked away already, still will take lots of someone's time/sweat...
But;
Now here the tough love part, I in my 40+ years of experience, now,
The sensible experienced thinking come in...
I always try to 1st find "as complete of car as possible",
take time & do a complete search,
or try to at least find something you have parts to work with,
at least that way you can restore something,
not have to buy everything...
But not knowing what your final build style is,
make a day 2/modified car or a full 100% OE
rustoration...
IMO It'd make a great build to modify...
{that car doesn't look very complete, it's rough too}
Again I'm not trying to discourage you,
more information is key, the more you know, going into it, the better...
Either way, I'd rather save a bit more if need be &
just spend a little more $$$, on the initial purchase
{
again we don't know how much yet {?}, depend if it it's dirt cheap, or if not}
to find/locate & even to ship a car & even pay someone to look at something
that knows what to look for &/or a plane tickets to check something out,
if need be, for something
a bit more complete, running & driving {
preferably},
a lot of times it's money better or well spent !!
Than months upon months of time consuming, frustrating & costly
body/paint repairs & let alone
rust repairs &/or sourcing all the
little missing pieces/parts too, some are really hard to find &/or expensive...
But;
Have fun that's, what ever you decide, that what the hobby is all about...
Do what makes you feel good, not what everyone else wants,
your decision could be completely different than mine would be...
And that's OK too...
Good luck
