TTI Header install tip

TTI should put in their instructions that it helps to have a 10 year old daughter with skinny arms to get the 2 lower middle bolts in. I couldn't get my hands in there to save my life so I had my daughter come and help. worked out great, She got a little dirty but I think she thought is was cool to help......gott'a love it!!

Is it just me or do daughters do something to thier fathers as soon as they are born. Mine is 19 months old and I can't wait until I can do stuff like this with her. I'm 29, 6'2" and 200lbs solid and I teared up with this thread. My daughter has offically made me a softy.

TTI requires and Mini-Denso type starter on big-block installations. The tubes on the driver's side radiate extreme heat especially once the car is turned off and eventually (within 1800 miles on my car (and others)) will destroy the windings and render the starter useless. I had to replace my starter (as others have told me the same) but wrapped it with a flexible heat shield and also wrapped the header tubes in the lower portions near the starter all the way to the collector. TTI claims they've not had complaints about this. I personally know of 2 other BB owners with the same complaint.

Thats what happens with the Girls, Mine loves to help me do anything because she likes the quality time. I have 2 older boys, 18 and 20 and they kinda always did thier own thing. Girls are special for sure. It's nice to have the boys to help me when she is a teenager and other boys start showing up at the door. lol
