I am ready to buy my headers and oil pan but before I do I have read that you might need to modify the headers. I'm going with the tti mounts and ceramic coated headers for my 6.1 with a/c. I just don't want to modify a brand new set of $750 headers. Does anyone know 100%. That would be awesome. Going in my 70 sport satty. Thanks guys

Went with TTI headers, and TTI engine mounts for a 6.1 in a 67 GTX. Very impressed with how everything fit perfectly when we mocked it up. My experience was that no modifications needed for my application.

I used TTI headers and mounts with my 5.7 hemi swap, no issues. It's the a body guys that have issues.

dont know how i missed this, but went to order the tti headers the website said you have to modify the ac compressor and one of the header tubes. just dont want to wreck a set of ceramic coated headers. are you guys running ac also.

Just cut an ear off the compressor, then see if a tube has to be dented, but I dont think it will.
