On my `65 Coronet, the right turn signal flashes when the switch is off, but it works fine when the switch is turned on for right and left otherwise. All lights outside work with it. Also, I don`t have any dash lights. Thanks for any help!

Hard to tell a bad flasher certainly would cause some screwy things because main power goes from the fuse to the flasher and from the other side of the flasher to the turn signal connector so when you turn the the signal to the right normally you would no get power to the lamps in the dash and the indicators outside and same for left.

So getting power constantly when its off could be either a bad flasher or miswired connector plus you have no dash lights which is an orange wire in the harness that goes from a 3 way connector to the connector on the circuit board which is fed by an orange from the fuse box, I also notice you may have a console connector with lamp power now switched from orange to yellow if you have a console? if you do that may be causing some issues. Check out the wiring diagrams and see what matches your car.

What switch are you referring to, ignition switch, light switch or turn signal switch?
