Has anyone finished the inside of their trunk. I don't like to original trunk mat nor the gaps left from the extensions to the quarters. The tail lights mounts are exactly attractive and im not sure if I want the original plastic cover that came in the 69' & 70's. Has anyone some up with nice attractive designs to clean up the appearance of their trunks? Thanks for any help and pictures

Hears mine.

I just put cut pile carpet in it, like the interior in my RR, I think its much better. The reproduction trunk mat is plastic and ugly, so its under the carpet now.

I already bought some nice charcoal material from Jo-Ann fabrics and plan on doing something similar.

Same as the others I just added some carpet. I plan to use some sort of boards on the sides to protect the quarters from stuff sliding around.

Not a 68, but you'll get the idea, (not mine) but I plan on doing mine almost identical to the picture, I picked up some fabric from Jo-Ann's fabric that I liked, a charcoal color. I have to wait till I take care of my rust first so the new material won't get wet if it rains(rust holes under vinyl roof) otherwise I'd have mine done already, I'll post pics in my build when I finish mine.

I really like the way that looks personally, just looks finished to me

I would like a spray in type liner and then use the panels for sides. I would pick a color that I could match both ways if possible.

That's exactly how I'm doing it, making panels and everything.

I wouldn't, then your committed to it, should you ever want to change it, you'll have issues.

when i had my '68, i added the plastic cover from a '69. It covered alot of ugly.

Ok, I'm horrible when it comes to taking before pics, as I had some rust holes to deal with, did that, sealed everything up, and here's my first piece, not glued down yet, plan on adding a lot more and neatening it up. I'm not sure I want a back board now, as I want to add a spare and period correct jack.
