Uh yeah ok 48k for a roller?

Well...I do agree 48k is a bit high for that considering no engine, trans, and being in pieces, etc... But the 71 'cuda convertible is the holy grail of muscle cars imho. And I am not the only one that thinks that. Just see what the real ones and clones go for at auction. But thank god he is selling it....I couldn't stand the idea of his plans coming to fruition. Put a damn old school hemi with a 4 speed in it or sell it please. Its not a camaro ffs! A well done clone of a 71 hemi cuda, 4 speed, conv can bring a PILE of money. One of the few cars you could do right, spending a ton of money and actually realistically expect to get your money back out of it and then some.

That said, without seeing a parts list he has its just too hard to come up with a number...assuming all he had is whats in the pics and description...I could see someone paying 30k for it or more.

He's on a crack pipe...

I'm with you on the 71 convert being the one to have but to tell you the truth I am almost over it now after just playing with every other kind of b-body. E's are great and all but it's not a b-body...a full size wreaking machine that snaps your head back and ask's for more :)

I think this dude is flat out knutz! 48k for a roller he is whack man why not just spend the other 20k to put it together and sell it for 100k? I mean after all it's the holy grail...well at least part of it lol

I have the three speed it's missing!!!

I remember walking into one of the swapmeets at Carlisle back in 1989, and seeing a red 71 Hemi Cuda convertible for sale just outside the entrance. The guy wanted $12,000 for it. My friend and I laughed at the guy and told him good luck getting that kind of money for that car. :)

You just never know.
