Ultra Rare small block 440 in Arizona

An ultra rare small block 440 with Gen 1 Hemi heads too... meh, I've got several of those already :jerk:

Wow!
Uber Rare!
Designed to compete against the Ford Boss 302 and the Chevy Z-28 Camaro in the Trans-Am series during the late 60s and early 70s until Chrysler developed the 340!

Only a few of them built.....

LOL

Looks like an early 50's desoto Gen 1 hemi. Good luck finding parts for that!

Well, it IS a hemi.....

Pictures speak louder than words...

Spoon fed/force fed chevy doctrine = small block/big block 400 MUST be = small block/big block 440.

Pretty sure thats an old Hemi from the 50s. Think they came in the De Soto. Maybe a 354?

Must be a Nigerian advertising that one. :angryfire:

With the short bell housing, it must be 1954 or later. It looks like a Desoto, but is not 354 due to the heads not having the ports for water. My first guess - without seeing any further - is either a 276 or a 291 FireDome. Yes, a Hemi, but virtually no parts are available. And NO, the Chrysler 331, 354 or 392 parts will NOT interchange.

I took the library of emailing the owner for more information as I want the super rare 440 small block hemi! Let's see what his reply says I asked him if he is selling it with the drugs he takes too!

LOL, Interested to see what the reply is Bb70charger500. ^^^^^^

Ask him what are the numbers on the front of the pan rails...that will tell us what we need to know and decipher this engine. Simple as that.
