Unbelievable: Sold car now he want's his money back

Tell him to try reconnecting the coil wire! It’s his now and I’d be suspicious of missing parts and/or title transfer already filed, so no returns!

Well - if you happen to find his new for sale ad and just happen to post it on here. A few people have time on their hands to reach out to him and ask him a bunch, and I mean a bunch of really deep and insightful questions.

I am not saying I am passive-aggressive like that.....but others are ;)

Does it have a radio?

Steve, does your state have a provision that when you sell a vehicle, you can write them and state in writing that the car (full description/VIN/color/etc) was sold to Mr. XYZ in Balderdash, Donkeyland on (date)? This tells them you no longer have the car. My state has such a provision, but it's a tear-off at the bottom of the title that you send in...along with ten bucks.

Good idea. I think Pa. has everything except that.

Just talk to a lawyer and he'll tell you this guy is full of himself and is using you for whatever reason, I don't care. One letter from him and the guy will run. Cost a few bucks, but it's better than stewing over this. This is not your fault, this guy is screwed up. Playing with people like this when they think I'm stupid is what I live for. Turnabout is fair play.......

A guy who rented next to my Dad test drove a new 1980 Chevy pickup. He pulled it under the tree he had used to pull the 235 motor from his 1972 pickup. He made the swap and returned it to the dealership. A couple years later, he was charged with arson for burning his house. They said he dropped an iron in a clothes basket. I wondered how they could prove it didn't just fall. I thought about the pickup and went: Hmmmm

I remember the rumors of guys renting those Hertz 289 Mustangs and taking them home, swapping in 2 barrel 260s in them and returning them to the rental agency.
I've also heard of people renting cars today and pulling the tires from the rental and putting them on their own similar car.

Sold my 64 Savoy Monday, came from Ohio with a friend to look it over.
Had it up un the lift so they could look it over good.
They looked at it for nearly an hour.
Made the deal Cash and I drove it onto his trailer.
Yesterday he calls and said I want to return the car. WTF.
He said he thinks I made a 2 door out of a 4 door.
I told him the vin will tell you it is a 2 door.
Said he did not believe me and wants to bring it back and get his money Baack.
And he could not get it started and had to push it off the trailer. I started it several times and drove it up on to his trailer.
NOW WHAT TO DO? Buyers remorse.
repercussions?
He can always sell it to someone
else to recoup his cash.

I had a guy do that to me. Sold my Porsche to him. A very nice 25,000 mile car and he was in a fit of hysteria because of a couple Arizona stone chips on the front of the car. He never came to look at it bought it off the Porsche renlist website after 100 pictures.

He stopped calling after I gave him my attorney to call.

Wow, some audacious deeds aside from being scum-thievery. Guy I reported to would buy clothes for some event, outings, etc. keeping the tags, wear them and return them for a refund. He liked bragging about it. I thought he was a POS and he was in so many ways. Glad I was able to tell him exactly this as he contributed to my departure from the company we were at. After trying to fabricate ways to fire me, at the direction of the prez who got a hate-on for me (dumb & dumber) they botched it miserably, then given a fantastic severance package. Well, kissing *** wasn't in my job description..
