Under hood insulation direction

I purchased under hood insulation for my 69 bee from year one. It has a black side and an insulation side(grey swirl). Which side points towards engine?

Send it back to them and get a correctly moulded one from an REM dealer...

That said, it should only fit one way, there are 4 holes on the passenger side and only 3 on the drivers at the rear edge of the hood.

Yes the molded pad I s the best, the other hangs down and scrubs the Air cleaner top and pie tin and ruins the finish.

I'm new here and don't know what an REM dealer is ?
That is very nice looking hood insulation the way it is molded.
My 1969 Coronet 440 looks like Ozarkbee's and I would like one like yours if they make them for my car.

REM makes the molded pad for the 68 to 69 B-Bodies. There is a number of vendors carrying their products, but most of the vendors will have it drop shipped directly from REM. The pads fit rather well and look as close to original as you will find. The only drawback is shipping them. Due to the size of them and they are quite easily broken, I am afraid that they will get damaged in shipping when I send one out of here. I usually try to get customers to pick them up at Carlisle or The Nats when possible.

As noted by others @69 Sleeper Bee .. REM is a manufacturer that doesn't sell direct to public. 69bfan can take care of you and as noted Year One closer to you possibly can as well. among others.
