Undercoat or no undercoat?

I have painted several floors in different cars, mine i drive throughout the summer months and i have been in the rain. i have a really good wax under the car and it cleans easily. i have a really good PPG paint and with no additional protection in the wheel wells. however i am careful in gravel, but i have come to really like the painted floors, but not as many people look under the car, only if the car is judged.

Benefit of undercoat is besides protection is will be the reduced amount of road noise. Gotta keep the noise down so I can enjoy my tunes while driving.

Mine originally had full undercoat, but I am choosing to only do the wheel wells, actually my 72 was about 98% rust free under the undercoat, very nice condition.
