Was listening to Sirius Outlaw Country all day today and learned that Rockabilly/DJ Mojo Nixon died of a heart attack in Feb. Dang! He was fun to listen to. I was wondering if he was on vacation or something.....RIP.

He passed away in his sleep last weekend. 74 years old.

He passed away in his sleep last weekend. 74 years old.

Joan Jett bought Eric Carmen's guitar from him in 1977, the one he used in that song 'Go All The Way'. She used that Melody Maker on songs like 'I Love Rock and Roll', 'Crimson and Clover' and 'Bad Reputation', and still has it.

One of the Raspberries' fans was John Lennon. He hung out with them in the studio while they worked on their fourth album. Here he sports their shirt.
